London art-rock quartet Wednesday’s Child has shared a third single, Fever Pitch, from their EP All Dressed Up which is released in February

We fell in love with Wednesday’s Child and their last single KNEES, and here they are again doubling-down on their catchy art-rock with Fever Pitch.
The track positions a rose stem between your teeth before with frantic footwork it spins you across the dance floor, dipping you low and allowing you a moment to catch your breath and still the dizziness. The rhythm hisses and punches, the guitar line whirls, and only bass gives you something almost solid to anchor yourself to. The vocal line bobs and weaves, the pace races and then all breaks down to voice and sparse guitar before everything builds back in and the spell holds us even tighter.
Sharing news of the track online the band said, somewhat cryptically, “We invite you to reclaim the dismembered parts of yourself and stitch them back together – a chimerical creature, restless and ready for reanimation. There is an alchemy we can perform when we hold communion with the wisdom of our wounds, and when we offer each other the grace to heal. We can play pretend for so long that we lose the game, and our sense of selves. Yet, something still stirs beneath our feet: a vision, a vessel, a voice that calls us back to the truth of our pain and our pleasure.”
Wednesday’s Child are in full on playful mode with Fever Pitch, and the singles which have preceded it, blending rhythms and influences with the confidence that comes from fully mastering your art. Excitement for the EP has only increased as we listen to this latest track on repeat.
