Pegging Mitchell

Making ‘angry songs for she’s and they’s’ we fell in love with Worcester punks Pegging Mitchell as soon as we heard their debut single International Men’s Day. Their second release No Means No is no less vital.

Juxtaposing anger and trauma lyrically with measured, steady melody No Means No Pegging Mitchell say, ‘goes out to all the victims’. Those who have been raped, sexually assaulted, or sexually harassed. Those who haven’t yet told their story, who do all the things to process the trauma and still carry it heavy on their hearts. For those who are yet to see justice, hear an apology, or who internalise the ‘she was asking for it’ comments.

As issue driven feminist punks Pegging Mitchell are shaping both their sound and a safe space for those who need some solidarity, and both a soundtrack and a community. Just 2 singles in and there’s no doubt this band is one of the most vital, most true, and both riotously angry and fun punk bands emerging on the scene in 2026.

Live dates on the way in March – catch them if you can.
